Availability of Resources and Quality of Early Child Education in Marilog District

The study determined the availability of resources and quality of early childhood education in Marilog District Schools, Davao City Division. The study used non-experimental descriptive-correlational research design, where it utilized adapted survey instrument to
gather responses from the randomly selected teacher-respondents. Data gathered were treated using Mean scores with descriptive interpretation, Pearson r and Simple Linear Regression Analysis. Findings revealed that extent of availability of resources in terms of teacher training and support, community support and engagement, health and safety, adequate facilities, resources, access to educational resources is moderately extensive, likewise, extent of students’ understanding in mathematical concepts in terms of assessment and evaluation, teacher child interaction, family engagement and curriculum and instructional practices moderately
extensive. There is a significant relationship between availability of resources and quality of early childhood education learners. Domains of availability of resources in terms of access to educational resources, teacher training and support, community support and engagement, adequate facilities and resources, and health and safety does significantly influenced quality of early childhood education learners. Future research may examine the long-term effects of resource availability in early childhood education on children’s academic achievement, socio-emotional development, and future success. Explore the relationship between resource
availability and the inclusion of diverse learners, such as those with disabilities or from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. May conduct further research on the impact of specific resources and their availability on early childhood education outcomes. Investigate the effectiveness of different resource allocation models and strategies in promoting quality early childhood education.
