Abstract

This study aimed to assess the extent of alternative learning approaches and their relationship with educational efficiency in the Monkayo West District. Specifically, it examined five domains of alternative learning approaches: flexibility and personalization, technology integration, active learning and engagement, accessibility and inclusivity, and assessment, feedback, and mechanisms. It also evaluated educational efficiency in student achievement, time and completion, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness. Utilizing a quantitative-descriptive and correlational design, data were collected from 65 respondents through a validated survey instrument. The results revealed that all domains of alternative learning approaches and educational efficiency were rated as very extensive. A significant and strong positive correlation was found between alternative learning approaches and educational efficiency (r = 0.757, p < .001). Regression analysis showed that flexibility and personalization (β = 0.264, p = .008) and accessibility and inclusivity (β = 0.293, p = .013) were significant predictors of educational efficiency. These findings confirm that adaptive, inclusive, and learner-centered approaches make a meaningful contribution to enhancing educational outcomes. The study recommends continuously enhancing personalized learning practices, inclusive pedagogical models, and strategic implementation of flexible delivery modes to optimize educational efficiency at the school level.
